POCOTEC can provide technologies and services on controlling flue gas emissions including SOx, NOx, HCl, particulates, air toxics etc. Special focus in POCOTEC's activities is on its own flue gas desulphurization technology.

POCOTEC is the technology owner of the LIFAC^TM flue gas desulphurization technology worldwide. POCOTEC has been established in 2003 and all the LIFAC^TM intellectual property and technology rights have been transferred from Fortum Group/Enprima Ltd to POCOTEC.

The key experts of POCOTEC have over 15 years of experience in working in the field of power plant air pollution control (mainly within Fortum and IVO Group) covering project engineering, R&D and consulting of LIFAC dry FGD, wet limestone/gypsum FGD, low-NOx combustion etc.
